Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Director to lead and oversee nursing care programs in institutional settings. This role focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans for inpatient facilities serving high-risk and high-acuity patients. As a Nursing Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing nursing staff, ensuring quality care, and fostering a culture of excellence in healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing care programs tailored to meet patient needs in high-risk, high-acuity inpatient settings.
- Oversee the organization, activities, and operations of the nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Lead efforts in continuing quality improvement by monitoring patient care standards and implementing best practices.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional development and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery and address patient needs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies in all nursing practices.

- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina.
Special Requirements:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
