Nursing Assistant, Non-Certified

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant (Non-Certified) to provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transporting. You will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help move, transfer, or transport patients as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
• Provide general comfort and support to patients.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of assistive nursing procedures and practices.
• Understanding of sanitation, personal hygiene, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with human anatomy and patient handling techniques.
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as required.
• Proficiency in basic life support skills, including CPR, AED usage, and ventilations (may be required).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or patient-care setting is preferred but not required.

Special Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Basic life support certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Work Environment:

• This position is hands-on and may require standing for long periods, lifting, and assisting patients with mobility.
